TheatreWorks Silicon Valley has
announced it will present the World
Premiere of a new musical, The Prince
of Egypt
, by the award-winning composer
of Wicked, Stephen Schwartz, as part
of its 2017/2018 Season. A dazzling,
multi-ethnic cast will bring to life this story
of Moses, his Pharaoh brother, and
the indomitable people who changed
their lives. The Prince of Egypt will play
at the Mountain View Center for the
Performing Arts October 6-November 5,
2017 before moving on to a production
at the Fredericia Teater, Denmark.

TheatreWorks Silicon Valley has announced it
will present the World Premiere of Min Kahng's
new musical The Four Immigrants: An American Musical Manga to launch its 2017/2018 season. Based on Henry Yoshitaka Kiyama's Manga Yonin Shosei (The Four Immigrants), this new work features an infectious ragtime and vaudeville score, as it follows the adventures of four Japanese immigrants who land in San Francisco at the turn of 20th century. The Four Immigrants: An American Musical Manga will play at the Lucie Stern Theatre in Palo Alto, July 12-August 6, 2017.

TheatreWorks Silicon Valley has announced
it will present the regional premiere of Hershey
Felder in his newest work, Our Great Tchaikovsky as part of its 2017/2018 season. Virtuoso Felder presents a bold and engrossing story of the culture and politics which haunted the composer of some of the world's most beautiful music. Our Great Tchaikovsky plays January 10-February 4, 2018 at the Mountain View
Center for the Performing Arts.

TheatreWorks Silicon Valley has announced it will present the regional premiere of the London and New York hit Constellations by Nick Payne, as part of its 2017/2018 Season. This playful, intelligent drama that uses physics as a launching pad

TheatreWorks Silicon Valley
has announced it will present the California premiere of the musical play FINKS. Based on the true story of actor and comedian Jack Gilford and his wife, who faced blacklisting during the 1950s Red Scare, FINKS is written by his son, playwright/screenwriter Joe Gilford. TheatreWorks Silicon Valley has announced it will present the regional premiere of the soaring musical romance The Bridges of Madison County, book by Pulitzer Prize winner Marsha Norman and music/lyrics by Tony Award-winning composer Jason Robert Brown, as part of its 2017/2018 Season. This sweeping tale of a devoted housewife's four-day encounter with a roving photographer will be staged April 4-29, 2018 at the Mountain View Center for the Performing Arts. TheatreWorks Silicon Valley has announced it will present the regional premiere of Mark Brown's adapation of Around the World in 80 Days, as part of the 2017/2018 Season. This rollicking, family-friendly voyage of circling the globe in the 1870s will be staged November 20-December 23, 2017 at the Lucie Stern Theatre in Palo Alto.

TheatreWorks Silicon Valley has announced it will present
an added attraction for the holidays of David Sedaris' The Santaland Diaries. For a limited three-week run at the Lohman Theatre in Los Altos Hills from December 5-23, 2017, The Santaland Diaries is Sedaris' recounting his hilarious short tenure as Macy's a Crumpet the Elf.

TheatreWorks Silicon Valley has announced it will present the regional premiere of Skeleton Crew by Dominique Morisseau (shown), co-produced with Marin Theatre Company, as part of the 2017/2018 Season. Morisseau's drama follows a makeshift family of auto plant workers, navigating the Great Recession. Skeleton Crew will be presented March 7 - April 1, 2018, at the Lucie Stern Theatre, Palo Alto.
